Theme “Buffalo Wedding”

My cake was a three tiered round cake with butter cream icing and royal icing snowflakes. The hill at the top of the cake was made of rice crispy cereal and marshmallows. It was covered in fondant and the bride and groom were made of fondant and gum paste and pained with pearl dust.

"The Ride of Your Life", a technically perfect cake by amateur Heather Harzewski, won as the Best Overall cake in the Nickel City Cake Challenge amateur competition.
